Direction to Use

Prepare the Patient:

• Ensure the patient is seated comfortably and is ready for the scan.
• Ask the patient to keep their mouth open as required for the scan.

Set Up the Scanner:

• Connect the scanner to a computer using the provided USB 3.0 cable.
• Ensure the computer meets the recommended system specifications for optimal performance.
• Launch the scanner software on the computer.

Select the Scan Mode:

• Choose the appropriate scanning mode (e.g., full arch, single arch, occlusion, etc.) from the software interface.

Begin Scanning:

• Position the scanner tip inside the patient’s mouth and begin scanning. Move the scanner tip over the area to capture the 3D digital impressions.
• The AI-powered scanning system will automatically remove any soft tissue artifacts, the tongue, and cheeks, ensuring clarity and accuracy.

Scan Body Matching (for Implant Cases):

• If required, select the scan body matching function in the software to match the scan body for implant placement.

Margin Line & Occlusion Check (if applicable):

• Draw the margin line and check for occlusion using the software tools to ensure accurate alignment.

Post-Scan Process:

• Once the scan is complete, the software will automatically process the data. Review the digital impression on the screen for accuracy.
• Save or export the scan in the desired file format (STL, OBJ, PLY) for further use or design.

Data Sharing (if required):

• Use the cloud sharing function to securely share the scan data with dental labs or colleagues for further analysis or treatment planning.

Clean the Scanner:

• After each use, remove the scanner tip and sterilize it by autoclaving it (up to 100 times) at the recommended temperatures: 121°C for 16 minutes or 134°C for 4 minutes.
