Description

SafeEndo BioActive 3Dis an advanced bioceramic root canal sealer designed to deliver reliable, long-lasting obturation in a wide range of clinical situations. It is suitable for vital and necrotic pulp cases, as well as retreatment procedures, offering excellent adaptability when used with gutta-percha points. Its bioactive formulation promotes a stable seal by interacting with surrounding dentin, helping create a tight, three-dimensional fill that supports long-term success. The material works seamlessly with single-cone, multiple-cone, and cold lateral condensation techniques, giving clinicians flexibility during obturation. Its smooth consistency allows easy placement directly into the canal, especially in the apical third, while maintaining optimal flow without overextension. With proper storage and handling. SafeEndo BioActive 3D allows the use of conventional gutta-percha removal methods if retreatment becomes necessary, making it a practical and dependable choice for everyday endodontic practice.

Direction to Use

Isolate the tooth

  • Place rubber dam and complete access opening.

Prepare the canal

  • Shape and clean the canal using your preferred endodontic protocol.

Rinse and dry

  • Do final irrigation, then dry with paper points. Keep the canal slightly moist—do not over-dry.

Prepare the syringe

  • Remove the cap, attach the applicator tip, and bleed a small amount to ensure smooth flow.

Place the sealer

  • Gently inject BioActive 3D into the apical third of the canal, rotating the tip slightly to coat the walls.

Insert the gutta-percha cone

  • Place a matching master cone to full working length, allowing the sealer to spread three-dimensionally.

Compact and remove excess

  • Cut the cone coronally with a heated plugger, perform vertical compaction, and clean excess sealer from the chamber.

Verify and restore

  • Take a radiograph to confirm the fill, then complete coronal sealing and final restoration.

Indications

Permanent root canal filling in combination with gutta-percha points in vital or necrotic pulp cases or after a retreatment procedure.
BioActive 3D is suitable for use in single, Multiple Gutta percha cone technique or cold lateral condensation.
SIDE EFFECTS
As far as all terms of storing, transporting and application are observed, there are
no side effects

Advantages

• BioActive 3D can be used, in addition to conventional techniques, in singlecone technique and thermoplastic filling.
• Use conventional gutta removal techniques.
Single-cone technique
1. Anesthetize, install absolute isolation and then perform the biomechanical preparation of the canal.
2. Remove the sealing tip and attach the applicator tip to the syringe.
3. Dry the canal only with absorbent paper cones without causing excessive dryness.
4. Apply BioActive 3D in the apical third of the canal directly with the syringe.
5. Insert the gutta percha cone.
6. X-ray for checking the correct filling of the canal.
7. Cut the cone at the desired height with heated instruments followed by vertical compression.
8. Remove excessive material from the canal walls with suitable irrigating solutions for this purpose, perform crown sealing and restoration.
