Description

Prime Dental Restorite Nano Hybrid Kit offers a comprehensive solution for composite restorations, encompassing essential steps from etching to finishing. This kit includes Restorite Etching Gel, Restorite Bond 5G, Restorite Nano Composite, and Aster Compo for a seamless restorative process.

Restorite Etching Gel: Containing 37% phosphoric acid in a gel formulation, Restorite Etching Gel facilitates enamel etching and dentin conditioning. Its thixotropic consistency ensures precise application and effective conditioning of dental surfaces.

Restorite Bond 5G: As a 5th generation total-etch bonding agent, Restorite Bond 5G provides reliable adhesion to both enamel and dentin. Its formulation enables secure bonding, promoting restoration longevity and stability.

Restorite Nano Composite: Formulated with Urethane Dimethacrylate and an ultrafine, radiopaque glass filler, Restorite Nano Composite ensures durable and aesthetically pleasing restorations. With properties such as low volume shrinkage and high tensile strength, it offers exceptional performance in adhesive techniques.

Aster Compo: Aster Compo is an alumina-based abrasive designed for optimal polishing and finishing of composite restorations and natural enamel. Its thixotropic properties minimize splattering, providing a controlled and efficient finishing process.

The procedure involves meticulous pretreatment, cavity preparation, pulp protection (if necessary), application of etching gel and bonding agent, composite filling, curing, trimming, and final finishing using Aster Compo. Additionally, the use of Prime Dental’s Restorite Cavo Surface Sealer enhances marginal integrity by sealing microscopic cracks in composite surfaces.

Proper storage is crucial to maintain the integrity of the kit contents. It is recommended to store the materials away from sunlight in a cool, dry place. Refrigeration is advised for some materials, ensuring they remain at room temperature before use and that caps are tightly closed to prevent blockage.

Direction to Use

Pretreatment:

• Clean the tooth using a non-fluoride polishing paste such as Prime Dental’s Aster Prophy.
• Select the shade using a Vita® shade guide while the tooth is still moist.

Cavity Preparation:

• Prepare the cavity minimally as required for adhesive techniques.
• Bevel all enamel margins in the anterior region.
• Avoid beveling margins in the posterior region and slice preparations.
• Clean the cavity by spraying it with water, removing all debris, and drying it.
• Isolate the cavity, preferably using a rubber dam.

Pulp Protection/Cavity Liner:

• Use a calcium hydroxide material to coat areas in close proximity to the pulp in very deep cavities.

Approximal Contact Areas:

• Place a transparent matrix and fix it in place when filling cavities with approximal sections.

Etch:

• Apply Restorite Etching Gel first to the enamel areas of the cavity for 30 seconds.
• Fill the entire cavity (dentine) with Restorite Etching Gel for an additional 15 seconds.
• Rinse the cavity thoroughly with a water spray and dry it with oil-free compressed air.

Bond:

• Apply 2-3 consecutive coats of Restorite Bond 5G to etched enamel and dentin for 15 seconds each.
• Gently air thin for five seconds to evaporate solvents.
• Light cure for 10 seconds.

Composite Filling:

• Extrude the required amount of Restorite Nano Composite from the screw syringe and place it in the cavity.
• Contour the composite. Ensure layers are not thicker than 2 mm.

Curing:

• Light cure all shades for 40 seconds per layer using a light curing unit.
• Hold the light guide as close as possible to the surface of the filling.

Trimming:

• Trim and polish Restorite Nano Composite immediately after curing using finishing diamonds, flexible disks, silicone polishers, and polishing brushes.
• Check the occlusion and articulation and spot grind if necessary.

Final Finish:

• Apply Aster Compo paste on the cup/brush, directly over the tooth, or on the restoration material.
• Use low rotation and low pressure with intermittent touches and circular movements for polishing.

Post-Finishing:

• Apply Prime Dental’s Restorite Cavo Surface Sealer to improve marginal integrity by filling microscopic cracks in composite surface
