Description

E-MTA Putty is an advanced dental material that offers exceptional properties for various dental procedures. This pre-mixed substance is a bio-ceramic paste, known for its insolubility, radiopacity, and bioactivity. It contains finely ground hydrophilic particles of mineral oxides, making it an excellent choice for dental applications. Its radiopaque quality ensures visibility on X-rays, aiding in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. The bioactive nature of E-MTA Putty promotes healing and tissue regeneration, which is crucial in restorative and regenerative dentistry. Its non-solubility and optimal consistency make it easy to work with and ensure long-lasting results in procedures such as pulp capping, pulpotomy, root canal filling, perforation repair, and resorption repair in both primary and permanent teeth. E-MTA Putty’s unique characteristics, including its direct placement, and non-staining quality.

Preparation:

  • Ensure proper isolation of the tooth using a rubber dam or other methods to maintain a dry operating field.
  • Prepare the tooth by removing any decay or damaged tissue and cleaning the area as needed for the specific procedure.

Access and Application:

  • Take a small amount of E-MTA Putty using an appropriate dental instrument (e.g., a spatula or amalgam carrier).
  • Place the E-MTA Putty directly onto the target area or prepared site. The technique and location will depend on the procedure, such as pulp capping, pulpotomy, perforation repair, etc.

Condensation and Adaptation:

  • Gently condense or adapt the E-MTA Putty to ensure it forms a proper seal and adapts to the tooth structure. Use suitable dental instruments for this purpose, such as pluggers or condensers.

Excess Removal:

  • Remove any excess E-MTA Putty material to ensure it is flush with the tooth structure.

Radiographic Verification:

  • For procedures involving root canals, take X-rays to verify the proper placement and sealing of the material within the root canal space.

Sealing (if applicable):
