• Left side prong / Right side measurement: Goldman-Fox pocket marker left calibrated (1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9) designs used to establish exterior puncture marks on gingiva at base of the pocket to indicate the initial line of incision.
• Right Side Prong / Left Side Measurements: Goldman-Fox pocket marker right calibrated (1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9) designs used to establish exterior puncture marks on gingiva at base of the pocket to indicate the initial line of incision.

Pocket on each surface are explored with periodontal probe and marked with pocket marker at three places on each tooth on each labial & lingual surfaces. Pocket should be marked systematticaly beginning on the distal surface of the last tooth then moving on the facial surface and proceding anterioly to the midline.
