Direction to Use

Preparation:

  • Ensure proper ventilation and gather necessary equipment.
  • Clean enamel, dentin, and metal surfaces meticulously to remove debris and plaque.
  • Dry the cavity gently with oil-free air or cotton pellets until the surface appears matt shiny, avoiding excessive desiccation.

Pulp Protection:

  • Apply a hard-curing calcium hydroxide preparation to areas near the pulp to prevent irritation during restoration.

Dosing & Mixing:

  • Assemble the dosing rod and tap off excess powder.
  • Dispense liquid carefully, ensuring proper ratio adherence.
  • Mix powder and liquid on a mixing block or glass plate until achieving a homogeneous consistency.

Application:

  • Keep the work area dry and free from saliva contamination.
  • Lubricate neighboring teeth or crowns with vaseline.
  • Apply a thin, even layer of cement to the inside of the restoration and prepared tooth, avoiding overfilling.
  • Insert the restoration promptly and accurately.

Excess Material Removal:

  • Clean excess material shortly before definitive setting using a suitable instrument, taking care not to disturb the seam.
  • After the setting time, remove any remaining excess material cautiously, e.g., with a probe.

Post-Application:

  • Monitor the patient for any signs of allergic reactions or complications.
  • Store unused product below 25°C/77°F and avoid use beyond the expiration date.

Cleanup:

  • Wash off any cement adhering to instruments with cold water before it sets.
