Description

Prime Dental’s RC Fill-I is a versatile endodontic filling material designed for efficient and effective root canal treatments. This formulation can be used for permanent canal filling or alongside gutta percha cones as sealants. Its radio opaque properties ensure easy visibility in radiographs, facilitating accurate monitoring of the treatment process. RC Fill-I is designed to be resorbed by the body, minimizing the risk of complications due to over-obturation. With no known contraindications, it is suitable for a wide range of patients. During use, it’s essential not to mix RC Fill-I with eugenol. The mixing process is straightforward and efficient, with a working time of 15 minutes and initial setting within 30 minutes. The kit includes an accelerator for faster setting times when required. RC Fill-I provides clinicians with the flexibility to fill multiple canals from a single mix, thanks to its convenient mixing time of 45 seconds. Any excess material can be easily removed using RC Solve, Prime Dental’s gutta percha and zinc oxide eugenol solvent, along with gates drill. Stored in a cool and dry place away from sunlight, RC Fill-I ensures reliable performance and excellent results for endodontic procedures.

Direction to Use

Preparation:

• Prepare and clean the root canal thoroughly.

Mixing:

• Dispense the required quantity of powder and liquid on the provided pad.
• Mix the components in a circular motion using a metal cement spatula until the desired consistency is achieved.
• The desired consistency is when the mixture can be pulled along with the spatula to a distance of ½ inch.
• Note: Do not mix with eugenol.

Application:

• After mixing, fill the canal with the paste using a paste carrier or bi-directional spirals.
• Remove any excess material with a cotton swab.
• Seal off with cement.

Sealing with Gutta Percha:

• After preparation and cleaning of the root canal, select a master cone.
• Fill the canal with the mixed paste using a paste carrier or bi-directional spirals.
• Place the master cone into position until tug back is felt.

Setting Time:

• Working Time: 15 minutes
• Initial Setting Time: 30 minutes
• Final Setting Time: Within 6 hours

Accelerator (if required):

• The kit includes an accelerator for faster setting times.

Removal (if required):

• If removal is necessary, the set mass can be easily removed using RC Solve (Prime Dental’s Gutta Percha and zinc oxide eugenol solvent) and gates drill.
