Directions to Use
- Check the occlusion: Ensure that the patient’s bite is properly aligned before starting the procedure.
- Measure and cut the fiber: Measure and cut the EverStick C&B fiber reinforcement to the appropriate length for each tooth.
- Clean and etch the area: Clean the area where the fiber will be bonded using a suitable cleaning agent. Etch the tooth surface with an etching gel for 45 to 60 seconds to promote bonding.
- Bond and light-cure: Apply a bonding agent to the etched tooth surface, ensuring even coverage. Light-cure the bonding agent according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Apply flowable composite: Apply a flowable composite material to the prepared tooth surface. Do not light-cure at this stage.
- Position the fiber and light-cure: Place the EverStick C&B fiber reinforcement onto the flowable composite, ensuring proper positioning and coverage. Light-cure the composite and fiber reinforcement together, following the recommended curing time.
- Add a transverse fiber: Add a transverse fiber across adjacent teeth if necessary. Cover the transverse fiber with flowable composite and light-cure.
- Layer the pontic with composite: Layer the pontic area (replacement tooth) with composite material, shaping it to match the surrounding teeth. Light-cure each layer of composite as needed.
- Check the occlusion: Verify the occlusion, ensuring proper alignment and bite function. Make any necessary adjustments.
- Finish the restoration: Finish the EverStick C&B restoration by polishing the composite surface to achieve a smooth and natural appearance.
