• Description
• API Carversare double-ended surgical instrument used to place, carve, and contour dental wxes and amalgam. It is a part of standard restorative procedures used to cut and shape dental wax during large fillings. It removes excess material from the restorative area and gives the restoration or waxes a proper and tidy shape.
• These double side instrument blends the benefit of a wax carver and a wax sculpting hand instrument. One side is used for denture wax adding, carving. The other side is used to remove the excess wax and also to create festooning.
• It is used to carve wax patterns, generally a blunt blade of varying size and shape, which can be heated for softening the wax while fashioning the pattern.
• It also removes excess material, contour surfaces, and carve anatomy back into amalgam or intermediate restoration before it hardens.
