Direction to Use
Prepare the Impression:
- Ensure the dental impression is clean and dry before starting the boxing process.
Cut the Wax:
- Cut the Maarc Boxing Wax into manageable strips or pieces suitable for the size of the impression.
Apply the Wax:
- Base Layer: Place a strip of wax along the base of the impression tray, ensuring it sticks well due to its tacky nature.
- Periphery: Apply additional wax strips around the periphery of the impression, building a wall to contain the plaster or stone that will be poured in.
Seal the Edges:
- Press the wax firmly against the impression material and tray edges to create a tight seal, preventing any leaks.
Check the Alignment:
- Ensure the wax walls are perpendicular to the base and evenly distributed to provide a stable mold for pouring.
Pour the Model Material:
- Once the boxing wax is securely in place, pour the plaster or stone into the impression as per standard procedures.
Allow to Set:
