Direct to Use

  • Prepare the tooth: The tooth is first prepared by removing any decay or damaged tissue and cleaning the area.
  • Isolate the tooth: The tooth is isolated using a rubber dam or a dental dam to prevent contamination and to keep the tooth dry.
  • Apply an adhesive: An adhesive is applied to the prepared tooth surface to bond the composite filling to the tooth structure.
  • Place the composite: The NanoFill Zirconium Composite is then placed into the prepared cavity using a hand instrument or a placement instrument. The composite material should be packed firmly and evenly into the cavity to ensure good adaptation and contact with the tooth structure.
  • Shape and contour the composite: The composite is shaped and contoured using a dental instrument to achieve the desired anatomical form and occlusal contacts. It is important to ensure that the composite is properly contoured to prevent food accumulation and to promote proper oral hygiene.
  • Cure the composite: The composite is then cured using a dental curing light. The curing time depends on the type of composite used and the manufacturer’s instructions.
  • Check the bite: After the composite is cured, the bite is checked to ensure that the restoration is not interfering with the patient’s occlusion.
  • Polish the composite: The final step is to polish the composite using a dental polishing system to achieve a smooth and shiny surface.
